Permitting Assistant

 

Job Description:

The Permitting Assistant will be the secondary point of contact for permits. They will be responsible for maintaining and updating reports in a time sensitive environment. Additionally, this position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with municipalities, city officials, permitting department, and inspectors, as well as homeowners and subcontractors.

 

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the full production cycle, from approval to final stages of the permitting process and the completion of the scope of work
• Work closely with municipalities on the status of each permit and ensure they are processed in a timely manner
• Responsible for producing, maintaining and communicating status on permits, inspections, specifications, and other schedules as needed in support of full life cycle of the production process
• Responsible for communication with homeowners throughout the build cycle
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience: Entry Level 1 year
• Must be able to pass a background screening and drug screening
• Drug-Free Workplace
• Motivated to succeed
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with sudden loud noises

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
